Brooke was on for an hour and a half Friday night and she seemed excited to see me drop by. I wanted to make sure she was alright. I'm not gonna go into details about what she said to me. So where's Brooke Skye been recently? I haven't been able to catch her on cam for like two weeks now. First, while she and Kat were supposed to drop by BTLS (Bubba the Love Sponge) show, her site crashed. I left an ICQ with Mayor's Money, and one of the guys told me their server had a catastrophic meltdown (well, I'm actually paraphrasing). For two or three days, none of their sites (brookeskye.com, katyoung.com, samanthagauge.com, faithbelle.com) showed up. When the sites finally came back up, the I couldn't log into the chat. For a few days, Brooke would turn the cam on and just lie on the bed twirling her hair for two hours and then fall asleep. She musta known no one could talk to her. Mayor's got to teach her about blogs. I know there's an official brooke skye blog, but its just a promo tool that Brooke Skye doesn't really touch. I can't blame her, since she spends half of her day every day getting wasted, lol. Anyway, last night, I finally was able to log into the chat again, but Brooke never showed. So I still have not much to report on, except I took some snippets off her diary, and I actually figured out how to log into the chat client through MIRC (though I won't tell ya how). Let's see...

Brooke Skye's New Place

I had technical issues tonight. Java version 1.5 keeps spitting errors saying "java environment cannot be loaded" when I try entering Brooke Skye's chat using IE. When I tried downloading the lastest java install, I got the same error message, so I know it's not brookesyke.com giving me a hard time. I ended up switching to Netscape to install java. Good thing that worked, so now I'm chatting with Brooke on NN, but java still won't run on IE. What the fuck, right?

Anyway, it looks like Brooke finally moved to her new place. Man...her place looks pretty big. Brooke said she had to move because she had to lose a couple of stalkers. Talk about the price of stardom.

Brooke Skye Garage Ride

Jesus Christ, I was in the middle of writing this blog entry and my IE crashes on me. No biggie. Anyway, here we go.

Brooke is moving out of her crib...Here's a photo of what her place looks like right now. Her bookcase is empty and those mirrors on the wall I never seen before. You might notice Sam's pretty feet hanging off the end of a softa to the right. At this point she's still unconscious =)

While Brooke's smilin her pretty smile as always, she does mention her brakes went out on her VW Bug a.k.a Herbie and she has to take her car to a garage. Yeah, look at all that stuff on the floor!

Sam eventually awakes and accompanies brooke through heavy traffic on their way to see a mechanic. I think we spent about 30-40 minutes waiting for them to get there. The car doesn't look too shabby from the inside. By the way, Sam's T-shirt says "Is it hot in here or is it just me?"

After a loooong ride they finally arrive. Brooke is starving, since it's around 6:30 PM EST and she always gets her munchies around 5 PM. But, no food till she gets her car in order, so she gets ready for a long wait in the garage.

Brookeskye.com is a solo girl site with a unique twist: high definition video downloads. When I first saw that, I thought it was some sort of a gimmick, but I'm glad to report after surfing the members area this site is telling no lie. Here's probably the first porn site ever that allows you to download HD videos.
But what's even more impressive about this site is Brooke Skye, who turns out to be one of the most addictive girls to spend time with on live cam.

First thing you'll see after you join Brooke Skye's site is the link to her live webcam . When I got there (Thurs 4:33pm EST) few guys were lurking in the chat room, but no Brooke. I guess I must have just missed her because the schedule posted is Mon-Wed. 6pm-8pm Thurs. 12pm-2pm EST.

I went later around 9 PM and saw Brooke chatting with a girlriend of hers in what looked like her bedroom. While waiting for something to happen, one guy in chat told me about previous chats, including a chat that went down a few days ago, where apparently, Brooke and a brunette did an impromtu live girl+girl show after getting hammered at a party.

The Good

One of the biggest strengths of this site is the extremely high quality of the videos, surpassing those of all other porn sites to date. Brookeskye.com is literally the next-generation porn site that many broadband users have been dreaming of.

My favorite videos on Brookeskye.com are the gruelling striptease videos where Brooke Skye will very slowly peel off her clothes. Although Brooke doesn't get completely naked until the last few minutes of the videos, it's some of the hottest softcore porn I ever seen. It could be because the video is so crystal clear I can watch a closeup of Brooke in full screen with no pixellation. In fact, there's an overwhelming sense of immersion that I usually don't get unless I'm watching DVDs.

The photo quality in this site is also excellent. Each episode comes with photo galleries, not vid caps, and each photo is available in medium and super resolutions. Most of the super resolution images seemed to be 1597x1061. Medium resolution is significantly smaller, at around 640x425. The numbers of photos available for each episode varied between 40 to 115 pics. The picture quality is usually sharp and taken digitally with no obvious filtering effects.

The setting for many of the episodes is tropical, reminiscient of places you'd see in sites like We Live Together. One episode was filmed at Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, although I'm not sure if all shoots are filmed at the same locale.

What ultimately makes or breaks a solo-girl site for me though is whether or not the girl fascinates me or not. Brooke Skye, with a hint of girl-next-door and tom-boy mixed in with a sweet face and supermodel bod seems to keep her members flocking to her. Tonight, I saw more than a few people come into the chat room at 10 PM and finally disconnect from chat around 3:30 in the morning, with only a few hours left before they had to get up for work.

The live cam is on 24/7, although when Brooke's not in, the cam is turned away from the center of her room.

The Bad

Although I surprisingly found myself spending hours inside Brooke Skye.com, here are some problems I did find with the site. First thing I noticed is some episodes don't have HD versions available yet. Checking out the entire archive of episodes, I found about 31 episodes so far, 19 of which yet did not have high definition formats available.

Secondly, some of the HD videos shot outdoors don't look quite as sharp as the videos taken indoors, although both are clearly above industry standards.

Thirdly, there are no content in the site featuring boy-girl action. Some episodes aren't erotic at all, although they are fun to watch. For example, the Bungie Ride episode doesn't contain any nudity or sex.

Fourth, each episodes were relatively short, around 10 minutes tops, and usually didn't really have much of a plot. One episode showed Brooke jogging in the parking lot and another episode showed Brooke doing some bikini shopping then modeling on the beach after chatting with the lifeguard.

Finally, I heard one new member complain about joinging the site through the trial option, and getting charged for two full month membership. He also mentioned he couldn't download the movies until the recurring kicked in. The guy was apparently drunk at the time he signed up, so I'm not sure how reliable his story is, but you should definitely avoid the trial option since it will recur at $40 bucks a month instead of the regular monthly price.

Final Judgement

If you're fascinated by the idea of joining a site that offers High Definition video downloads, or if you love the idea of spending hours on live chat with Brooke Skye and her girlfriends, then Brookeskye.com will not dissappoint.
